Relaxed Roman Shades – Calabasas, Malibu, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks
Relaxed roman shades are available in an extensive array of fabrics and feature a sloped center design.
The number of scallops in relaxed roman shades is determined by shade’s width.
Relaxed roman shades come in two types of “shade bottom”:
(1) Flat Bottom– The bottom is flat when the shade fully lowered and the “slope” shape reveals itself as the shade is raised.
(2) Permanent Fullness – An extra 30” for fullness is allowed so that the shade remains “sloped” (curved) even when fully lowered.
Slouch Roman Shades – Calabasas, Malibu, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks
Slouch roman shades feature “tails” between the scallops of the shade. The number of scallops on the roman shade is determined by the width.
Slouch roman shades come in two types of “shade bottom”:
(1) Flat Bottom – The bottom is flat when the shade fully lowered and the “slouch” shape reveals itself as the shade is raised.
(2) Permanent Fullness – An extra 30” for fullness is allowed so that the shade remains “slouched” (curved) even when fully lowered.
Room Darkening lining not recommended for the relaxed roman shade.
Butterfly Roman Shades – Calabasas, Malibu, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks
Butterfly roman shades feature “tails” between the scallops of the shade, with two “half pleats”. The number of scallops on the roman shade is determined by the shade width.
Butterfly roman shades may be mounted with either an inside bracket or an outside bracket, and feature a bottom weight bar for smooth and uniform extension of the shade.
Room Darkening lining not recommended for the butterfly roman shade.
Butterfly roman shades come in two types of “shade bottom”:
(1) Flat Bottom – The bottom is flat when the shade fully lowered and the “butterfly” shape reveals itself as the shade is raised.
(2) Permanent Fullness – An extra 30” for fullness is allowed so that the shade remains “butterflied” (curved) even when fully lowered.
Shirred Balloon Shades – Calabasas, Malibu, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks
Perfect for casual kitchens and whimsical bathrooms or bedrooms, the shirred balloon shades gather in a “pouch” on the individual scallops to create the “balloon” effect.
Shirred balloon shades are always made with a sheer and softer fabric, which allows the shirred balloon shades to properly gather without creasing or folding. Therefore, room darkening lining is not suggested for shirred balloon shades.
Shirred roman shades come in two types of “shade bottom”:
(1) Flat Bottom– The bottom is flat when the shade fully lowered and the “balloon” shape reveals itself as the shade is raised.
(2) Permanent Fullness – An extra 30” for fullness is allowed so that the shade remains “ballooned” even when fully lowered.
The number of scallops on the shirred balloon shades will be determined by the width of the window.

Box pleated balloon shades are available in a wide variety of fabrics, patterns and colors, and are available lined or unlined.
Box pleated balloon shades are typically made with a sheer and softer fabric, which allows the box pleated balloon shades to properly gather without creasing or folding. Therefore, room darkening lining is not suggested for shirred balloon shades.
